Michael is an Association for Conflict Resolution Advanced Practitioner
— the highest level designation — attained by fewer than 9
percent of all members. He is a founding Director and two-time
Past-President of the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation,
and served on the Council's committee which wrote its Standards
of Practice.
Michael has written for and been featured in
numerous legal, financial and family-related publications,
including Connecticut Magazine, the American Journal of Family
Law, Financial Planning Magazine, the Connecticut Post and
The
Connecticut Family Lawyer.
Michael holds licenses to practice
law in both New York and Connecticut, and is a James W. Cooper
